Video Downloader Pro identifies and previews supported videos on webpages and saves videos at your request. This policy explains how the extension and this support website handle information.

Information processed by the extension

To provide video detection, preview and downloading, the extension processes webpage URLs and titles, media URLs, media metadata and requested video data. It may inspect video elements and related page data in webpage frames. It does not bypass DRM protections.

Storage and retention

Saved webpage favorites and download history are stored in browser storage. Active task information is stored for the browser session. Settings use Chrome extension storage and may synchronize through Chrome when synchronization is enabled. Video data is stored temporarily on your device during downloading and merging. Temporary data may be retained after an interrupted save so you can retry, or after a browser interruption until cleanup.

Network requests and third parties

Media requests are sent directly to source websites and their media or CDN hosts. These requests may use existing website credentials and source-page information required to retrieve media. Source websites handle requests under their own privacy policies. The extension does not send browsing history or downloaded video data to a developer-operated analytics service, and does not sell this information or use it for advertising.

Your controls

You can delete saved webpage favorites and download records through the extension, cancel active downloads and change settings. Deleting a download record does not delete the downloaded file. Manage browser downloads and saved files through Chrome and your file manager. Uninstalling removes extension-managed storage but does not remove files you downloaded.

This privacy website and support

This website is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes connection information, such as IP addresses and request metadata, to deliver and protect the website. This page uses no analytics scripts or tracking cookies. If you contact support, your email address and the information you provide are used to respond to your request. Do not send passwords or private media links.

Limited use

Information accessed through the extension is used only to provide its stated user-facing features. It is not sold, used for personalized advertising, or used to determine creditworthiness or lending eligibility.
